Emily Baker is a creative director, photographer, illustrator, and painter whose work spans fashion, lifestyle, interiors, and fine art. Raised between Manhattan and Shelter Island, NY, her work reflects the balance of these two worlds — refined yet approachable, polished yet deeply rooted in nature.

Over the course of her career, Emily has built an extensive portfolio working with brands across fashion, beauty, restaurants, and events. She served as Art Director at Armani Exchange, developing seasonal campaigns, store graphics, and editorial direction, and has worked as an artist for Burberry, painting directly onto handbags at store events across the country. She has also illustrated and designed menus, logos, and print collateral for restaurants and events throughout the United States, bringing the same personal, artistic touch to each project.

As a fine artist, Emily works primarily in watercolor and oils, consistently inspired by nature, memory, and place. Her photography prints are sold through Serena & Lily's online art collection, and she is regularly commissioned for portrait paintings of dogs, horses, and personal likenesses. Her oil paintings have been shown in galleries in New York, California, Florida, and the Hamptons.

Emily's wallpaper collection, launched in 2021, has become the heart of her studio practice. Working primarily in watercolor, she translates lived experiences and familiar landscapes into hand-painted patterns that feel both intimate and transportive. Her collections range from coastal and botanical imagery to her latest, Country House — a celebration of rural textures, animals, and the grace of a lived-in home. Each design balances finely rendered detail with the organic imperfection of the watercolor medium, capturing a sense of familiarity, nostalgia, and understated elegance. Emily is currently based in Portugal.
